How to Register as a Seller or Business on Hoopi

Hoopi provides sellers with a seamless platform to showcase their products, whether you’re an individual or a business entity. Follow these simple steps to register as an independent seller or registered business owner on Hoopi platform.

Getting Started: Login to Hoopi

  1. Open the Hoopi App and navigate to the Profile section.
  2. Press Start Selling Today.

How to Log into Your Hoopi Accountre

  1. Enter your registered email address in the provided field.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Key in your password and press Login.
  4. If you’ve forgotten your password, select Forgot Password:
    • Enter the registered email address.
    • A verification code will be sent to your email. Use the code to reset your password.

Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the Home Page, where all additional functions are accessible.

How to Register as a Seller on Hoopi

Step 1: Bind Your Phone Number

  • Add your phone number.
  • Enter the verification code sent to your phone.
  • If you didn’t receive a code, click Send Again.

Step 2: Choose Your Seller Type

You can register as either:

  1. Independent Seller
  2. Business

Registering as an Independent Seller

  1. Enter Your Personal Details:
    • Fill in your First Name, Last Name, and IC/Passport Number.
  2. Upload Verification Documents:
    • Take a selfie holding your IC or Passport for verification.
  3. Agree to Terms:
    • Click Submit to agree to Hoopi’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Your application will be reviewed within 1–3 business days. Upon approval, you’ll receive an SMS notification.

Registering Your Business

  1. Submit Business Details:
    • Upload your Business License (SSM).
    • Enter your Company Name, Business Registration Number, and Full Address.
    • Optionally, include your website URL.
  2. Agree to Terms:
    • Click Submit to agree to Hoopi’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Your application will be reviewed within 1–3 business days, and approval will be communicated via SMS.

Fees and Commission Structure for Sellers

Hoopi offers a competitive and transparent fee structure:

First 60 Days (Introductory Offer)

  • Commission Fee: 0%
  • Transaction Fee: 2.5%
  • Sales and Service Tax (SST): 8% on the transaction fee

Example Calculation:

  • Sale Price: RM100
  • Transaction Fee: RM2.50
  • SST: RM0.20

After 60 Days

  • Commission Fee: 2%
  • Transaction Fee: 2.5%
  • SST: 8% on the total fees

Example Calculation:

  • Sale Price: RM100
  • Commission Fee: RM2.00
  • Transaction Fee: RM2.50
  • SST: RM0.36

Key Notes:

  • Fees are calculated based on the selling price.
  • SST applies only to total chargeable fees.
  • The introductory offer is automatically applied for all new sellers.

Accessing Selling Options

Once registered:

  1. Tap the Sell button on the Home Page.
  2. Choose your selling option:
    • Sell in Marketplace
    • Auction Your Cards
