Why Does Stock Quantity changes on the Hoopi Box?

At Hoopi, you may occasionally notice that Hoopi Box stock quantity occasionally changed.  This is completely normal and is tied to user activity and the checkout/payment process — not a result of automatic restocks.

How it works behind the scenes:

🔄 Stock Locking During Checkout

  • When a buyer adds a Hoopi Box to their cart and proceeds to checkout, the item is temporarily locked.

  • This lock reserves the quantity to prevent other users from purchasing the same item simultaneously.

  • The system holds the item until payment is completed

❌ Failed or Incomplete Payments

  • If the payment attempt is unsuccessful (e.g. card declined, payment timeout, interrupted transaction):

    • The system automatically releases the locked item.

🧠 What This Means for Buyers:

  • Stock numbers may go up or down as several users place or cancel orders at the same time.

  • The item becomes available again for purchase by other users

📌 Reminder:

- An item marked as “Out of Stock” does not necessarily mean it is permanently unavailable. In some cases, the item may become available again if previous buyers fail to complete their payment.
